Bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers with crispy bacon on a baking sheet

Cut the bacon slices in half first — a full slice is too much and won't get crispy.

How to make it

  1. Heat the oven. Set it to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Make the filling. Stir the cream cheese and cheddar together in a bowl until mixed.
  3. Stuff them. Spoon the cheese mix into each jalapeño half, filling them full.
  4. Wrap in bacon. Wrap a half-slice of bacon around each one and poke a toothpick through to hold it.
  5. Bake. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until the bacon is crispy. Cool 5 minutes before eating — the filling is lava-hot.
