Apple slices drizzled with caramel and chocolate

Pat the apple slices dry first — caramel slides right off wet apples.

How to make it

  1. Slice the apples. Cut the apples into thin slices, about as thick as two quarters stacked. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Melt the caramel. Microwave the caramel bits with the milk in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth and poured-able.
  3. Drizzle. Lay the slices on parchment and drizzle caramel all over them with a spoon.
  4. Add chocolate. Melt the chocolate chips the same way and drizzle over the caramel. Add peanuts or sprinkles if you want.
  5. Let them set. Rest 20 minutes until the drizzles firm up, then eat.
