How to make it
- Heat the oven to 450°F.. Lightly grease your pizza pan.
- Brown the sausage.. Cook the sausage in the skillet over medium-high heat for 8–10 minutes, breaking it into crumbles, until no pink remains. Leave about 2 tablespoons of grease in the pan and drain the rest.
- Make the gravy.. Stir the flour into the sausage and cook 1 minute. Slowly pour in the milk while stirring. Keep stirring for about 5 minutes until thick like gravy. Season with the salt and pepper and set aside.
- Scramble the eggs.. In the same skillet, melt the butter and softly scramble the eggs for 2–3 minutes. They should still look a little wet — they finish in the oven.
- Build the pizza.. Stretch the dough out on the pan. Spread the sausage gravy edge to edge, then the scrambled eggs, then the cheddar.
- Bake 15–18 minutes.. It is done when the crust is deep golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Rest and slice.. Wait 5 minutes, then cut into slices and serve hot.
How to serve it
A dash of hot sauce on top is fantastic. Serve with fresh fruit to round it out.
